Governments have recognised that they have an important responsibility to ensure that the economy thrives in the global online world.

Currently the TECC is involved in a Federal program called Clever Networks. In addition, the TECC is also actively involved in the State government’s Tasmanian Broadband Development Program (TBDP) which is co-ordinated through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts.
