Shareholders

The TECC has two founding shareholders:  the Tasmanian Government and the University  of Tasmania.

Tasmanian Government Contribution
The State Government contributes:

  • Industry development links and expertise, and expertise in economic and business analysis;
  • Selected agencies as demonstration clients.


University of Tasmania Contribution
The University of Tasmania contributes:

Expertise in research, education and electronic commerce; in kind support, attraction of academic personnel. The TECC has a close relationship with the School of Computing and Information Systems and HITLab Australia.

The Human Interface Technology Laboratory Australia or (HITLab AU) is a research and teaching facility within the School of Computing and Information Systems. The mission of the HITLab AU is to empower people by building advanced human-computer interface technology that will unlock the power of human intelligence, improve quality of life and link minds globally.
